According to Wikipedia, ‘trading day‘ refers to the practice of buying and selling financial instruments for trading the same day that all positions are generally closed before the market in the trading day. Dealers trading days in the sun are called active traders or day traders.Some frequently traded financial instruments, stocks, stock options, currencies, futures contracts and many, such as equity futures, interest rate futures and commodity futures.

Trading days used to be the preserve of financial firms and professional investors and speculators. Many day traders or investment banking firm professionals, such as equity and investment fund management, however, the advent of electronic trading and margin trading, day trading more and more popular everyday, traders at home.
